  • Getting started is easy! Simply book a complimentary Meet and Greet or get in touch directly. This allows me to introduce myself to you and your pets, discuss your needs, and ensure we’re a good fit.

  • Yes, I am fully insured and bonded through ProFur. Your pets and home are protected while under my care.

  • I am a Certified Professional Pet Sitter and Fear Free Certified, meaning I prioritize your pet’s comfort, safety, and well-being. Services are tailored to each pet’s unique needs, and I provide daily updates with photos to give you peace of mind.

  • I recommend booking as early as possible, especially during holidays and peak seasons. However, I will do my best to accommodate last-minute requests when availability allows.

  • I understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify my at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 7 days of the start of service may be subject to a cancellation fee.

  • Payments are due within 7 days prior to the start of service. I can accept most major credit cards, PayPal, bank transfers and cash. Recurring services are billed weekly.

  • Yes, a 20% surcharge for services during major holidays and long weekends, including Christmas, New Year’s, Easter, and others. Please refer to our Holiday Rates section for details.

  • I care for a wide variety of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, small animals (e.g., rabbits, guinea pigs), and even many exotic pets. If you have a unique pet, let me know—I’d love to meet them!

  • Yes, I am experienced in administering medications, including pills, injections, and topical treatments. Please provide detailed instructions during the Meet and Greet.

  • Your pet’s safety is my top priority. In case of an emergency, I will contact you immediately and take your pet to your preferred veterinarian. If you’re unavailable, we will use the emergency contact you provide.

  • Absolutely! I have experience caring for senior pets, pets with anxiety, and those recovering from surgery or illness. Let me know your pet’s specific needs, and I’ll tailor their care accordingly.

  • Yes! Each home visit includes mail and newspaper retrieval, light rotation, and plant watering as needed. I also perform a house check to ensure everything is secure including all access points, power, water and climate control systems.

  • I treat your home with the utmost respect. During each visit, I check locks, blinds, and lights to maintain a lived-in appearance. I will also follow any specific instructions you provide to keep your home safe.

  • Absolutely. I take security seriously, keeping your keys safe and only used for your scheduled visits. Alternatively, you can provide a lock-box or door code if preferred.

  • I offer 30-minute and 60-minute neighbourhood walks, as well as 60-minute adventure walks. The length of the walk can be customized based on your dog’s energy level and needs and can be balanced with playtime at home.

  • Yes, I am prepared to walk dogs in all weather conditions, but always prioritize their safety and comfort. In extreme weather (e.g., heavy rain, snowstorms, or heatwaves), I may shorten the walk or provide indoor enrichment instead.

  • Yes, I can walk multiple dogs from the same household. Additional dogs are charged at $10 each. To ensure all dogs are comfortable and safe during the walk, no more than two large dogs or 4 small dogs are walked at a time.

  • Overnight care includes staying in your home at least 12 hours (8am to 8pm)

    Overnight Plus and Extended Care I will provide all the care your pets need, including feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship over a 24 period.

  • With Overnight Plus, I will stay in your home overnight and provide check-ins during the day as needed. Extended Care includes 24-hour supervision.

  • Yes, I specialize in caring for pets with anxiety. Utilizing the Fear Free Certified approach helps ensure your pet feels calm and secure while you’re away.

  • The Meet and Greet is a chance for me to meet you and your pets, discuss your needs, and answer any questions. We’ll go over your pet’s routine, preferences, and any special instructions. Please ensure all pets are present, though timid cats are not required and should never be forced to attend.

  • Yes, the Meet and Greet is complimentary for all new clients. If follow-up visits are necessary before the start of service, additional fees for time or travel may be applied.

  • No hard feelings! I want both you and your pet to feel comfortable. If for any reason it’s not a good fit, I’ll do my best help you find an alternative solution.

  • In the rare event that I cannot complete a service due to an emergency, I will notify you immediately and provide a refund for any incomplete services. All bookings require an emergency contact who can step in if needed.

  • Unfortunately not at this time. In the event of an emergency I will ensure your emergency contact has assumed responsibility and can assist to the best I am able finding alternative arrangements if needed.

  • Yes! I can provide tailored services for weddings and events, ensuring your pet is included in your special day without the stress. Get in touch to book a consultation.

  • Absolutely. I offer yard and litter box clean-up services starting at $20 per visit. Let me know your needs, and we’ll create a customized plan.

  • Yes, at every home visit I will check and water your plants if needed. I can also offer quality expert plant care, including watering, re-potting, and pest control for indoor houseplants. Get in touch to request a consultation.
